Principal Algorithm & Signal Processing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to understand unique requirements and national security needs
• Lead projects and multi-disciplinary teams across multiple campuses
• Design and apply cutting-edge signal processing and machine learning techniques for radar and RF sensing challenges
• Support business development initiatives and lead technical writing efforts for proposals

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of relevant work experience (or PhD +5 years / MS +8 years)
• Experience in EW or Radar programs, including sensor system modes and signal/data-processing algorithms
• Expertise in at least two areas: RF/radar signal processing, optimization, waveform design, EW, machine learning, adaptive signal processing, AI/ML, model & simulation, systems engineering, or RF prototyping
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++
• Strong mathematical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret or TS/SCI Clearance
• Demonstrated leadership of complex R&D and engineering efforts
• Experience with machine learning tools such as PyTorch, Ray, TensorFlow, or MLflow
• Experience with deep learning methods including Bayesian, CNN, or Graph Neural Networks
• Experience translating mission needs into end-to-end technical solutions
