About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command for assigned aircraft, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew
- Manage worldwide flight operations and ensure compliance with Federal and International Civil Aviation Organization regulations
- Supervise flight crew and perform pre and post-flight inspections
- Analyze weather conditions and make critical decisions regarding delays, rerouting, or cancellations
- Maintain required qualifications and proficiency levels
- Perform collateral duties and projects as assigned by the Gulfstream Fleet Captain or Chief Pilot
- Work flexible hours, including after-hours, holidays, and weekends
Requirements
- GVI Type Rating
- 5,000 hours total pilot time
- 2,500 hours multi-engine flight time
- 1,000 hours in Type or large cabin equivalent
- 200 hours flight time within the previous 12 months
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Rating
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Experience with EFIS, EICAS, and FMS
Preferred Qualifications
- International and oceanic flight experience
- Ability to operate to any international destination
- Bachelor’s degree
