Principal Airplane Pilot

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pilot-in-Command for assigned aircraft, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew
• Manage worldwide flight operations and ensure compliance with Federal and International Civil Aviation Organization regulations
• Supervise flight crew and perform pre and post-flight inspections
• Analyze weather conditions and make critical decisions regarding delays, rerouting, or cancellations
• Maintain required qualifications and proficiency levels
• Perform collateral duties and projects as assigned by the Gulfstream Fleet Captain or Chief Pilot
• Work flexible hours, including after-hours, holidays, and weekends

Requirements

• GVI Type Rating
• 5,000 hours total pilot time
• 2,500 hours multi-engine flight time
• 1,000 hours in Type or large cabin equivalent
• 200 hours flight time within the previous 12 months
• FAA Airline Transport Pilot Rating
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Experience with EFIS, EICAS, and FMS

Preferred Qualifications

• International and oceanic flight experience
• Ability to operate to any international destination
• Bachelor’s degree
