Principal AI/ML Architect

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical expert positioning Snowflake’s AI and ML features to technical stakeholders across the Americas
• Partner with account teams and customer champions to scope and drive POCs to successful technical wins
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence AI and ML roadmaps based on customer feedback
• Publish technical content including blog posts, conference presentations, notebooks, and demos
• Maintain and tailor Sales Engineering AI and ML assets, presentations, and customer stories

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in the cloud
• Knowledge of generative AI techniques such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, or fine-tuning
• Deep knowledge of Python and ML packages like LangChain, pandas, sklearn, and PyTorch
• Proficiency with data engineering tools such as dbt, Airflow, and Spark
• Strong presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s in CS, engineering, or mathematics preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of LLM ecosystem tools like LlamaIndex or other OSS packages
• Experience with large-scale IaaS platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• 1+ years of practical Snowflake experience
• Experience with large-scale database technology like Snowflake, Netezza, or Teradata
