About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance ML solutions for AdTech use cases, including real-time bidding and targeting.
- Architect end-to-end machine learning pipelines from data ingestion and training to real-time, low-latency inference.
- Define the technical roadmap for AI/ML, evaluating emerging technologies such as deep learning and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Develop intelligent systems using AI agents and agentic workflows to automate campaign processes like audience segmentation and bid adjustments.
- Partner with engineering, product, and data science teams to translate marketing objectives into production-ready ML features.
- Ensure system robustness and stability in high-concurrency environments through rigorous monitoring and optimization.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers and data scientists to foster engineering excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or data science.
- 3-5 years in a principal engineer or lead ML role, preferably within AdTech or MarTech.
- Deep expertise in the programmatic advertising ecosystem (DSP, RTB, SSP, and ad exchanges).
- Proficiency in Java, Go, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong experience with big data and streaming frameworks like Apache Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
- Expertise with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying LLMs and generative AI to advertising (e.g., ad copy generation or creative optimization).
- Experience designing agentic workflows for autonomous decision-making in marketing.
- Expertise in ML model serving for latency-critical, real-time inference applications.
- Familiarity with modern data lake formats such as Apache Iceberg or Apache Hudi.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns.
