About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own technical execution from discovery to production, building and hardening AI prototypes and proofs of concept.
  • Design and govern reusable agentic AI patterns, including orchestration, tool use, memory, and retrieval.
  • Codify validated solutions into patterns, reference implementations, and starter kits for enterprise-wide scaling.
  • Ensure all deliveries meet strict architecture, security, and data-governance standards.
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders to finalize requirements and provide design input.
  • Mentor and elevate engineers within the squad while acting as the primary technical contact for AI architecture.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a track record of taking AI prototypes to production.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, RAG, and tool-augmented agents.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including managed AI/ML services.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling across relational, columnar, and vector stores.
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience integrating AI into enterprise systems via APIs and complex data pipelines.
  • Expertise in modern SDLC practices, including Agile, CI/CD, and TDD.
