Principal AI Content Designer

Responsibilities

• Design the core Wise Assistant experience from the ground up, shaping how conversational AI guides customers through the product.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to set the vision and strategy for AI-driven customer support.
• Own the squad's content and automation strategy end-to-end, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and helpful AI interactions.
• Standardize and systematize conversational experiences by working with design leaders across different squads.
• Level up content design quality and maturity within the Support squad and contribute to the wider Content Guild.
• Evangelize the role of content design in automation-based projects and coach other designers.

Requirements

• Accomplished experience as a Principal Content Designer with a track record of shipping world-class products.
• In-depth understanding of AI and how underpinning systems shape user-facing products.
• Proven experience designing conversational AI systems, including work with prompts, guardrails, knowledge architecture, and agents.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Strong technical interest and the ability to partner effectively with engineering teams on automation.
• High level of empathy for both customers and cross-functional teammates.
