Principal AI Architect

Responsibilities

• Define and own enterprise AI and GenAI reference architectures, including LLM platforms, RAG patterns, and agentic systems.
• Establish standardized architectural patterns for model serving, prompt management, and orchestration.
• Architect end-to-end MLOps capabilities, including model lifecycle management, CI/CD for ML, and drift detection.
• Design AI and GenAI solutions using AWS-native services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, and Lambda.
• Partner with security, legal, and compliance teams to define AI governance, guardrails, and responsible AI principles.
• Act as a principal-level advisor to senior technology and business leaders, mentoring architects and senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Application Development, Systems Engineering, or IT management, OR High School Diploma/GED and 14 years of experience in these fields.
• Deep expertise in AI/ML architecture.
• Proven experience architecting solutions on AWS.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, data platforms, or distributed systems.
• Strong experience designing MLOps platforms and enterprise AI foundations.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI and Snowflake Native AI capabilities.
• Proficiency in modern data frameworks such as Databricks, Airflow, or Vertex AI.
• Relevant AWS certifications in cloud architecture, AI/ML, or generative AI.
• Experience with agentic AI design patterns and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
