Principal AI Architect

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture across GenAI, agentic workflows, ML platforms, and data engineering ecosystems.
• Architect and implement scalable AI solutions, including agentic ecosystems and advanced pipelines, integrated with SaaS solutions.
• Evaluate and implement cost-optimized, multi-cloud technologies involving Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure.
• Elevate governance standards for security, compliance, and responsible AI/data use.
• Mentor engineering teams to foster technical excellence and architectural discipline.
• Evaluate emerging AI/data tooling and integrate reusable architectural patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Communicate AI architecture strategy and implementation to stakeholders to drive alignment and impact-based decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in progressive architecture and AI/DS design and engineering.
• Expertise in Enterprise Architecture, including AI + data ecosystem design and multi-agent orchestration (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
• Deep knowledge of AI/ML platforms, LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), transformer architectures, and RAG workflows.
• Proficiency in Data & Cloud Infrastructure, specifically Databricks (PySpark, MLflow), Snowflake, and Azure.
• Strong programming skills in Python (Transformers, PyTorch) and API integration (REST, GraphQL, gRPC).
• Experience with DevOps and delivery, including CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and observability.
• Proven ability to lead technical strategy and mentor engineers in an agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to multi-cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of token-efficient AI consumption and FinOps tradeoffs.
• Experience with data mesh, federated AI systems, and knowledge graphs.
• Hands-on experience with MLOps orchestration tools like Kubeflow or Vertex AI.
• Familiarity with AI ethics frameworks and regulatory compliance (e.g., EU AI Act).
