Principal Acquisition Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support the Missile Defense Agency’s C2BMC program by developing acquisition plans, RFPs, and strategic documentation
• Utilize DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) policy, plans, and procedures
• Develop Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement Lists
• Interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integration
• Prepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partners
• Develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Interact daily with high-level DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent) in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 20+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience
• Active Secret security clearance
• Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and activities
• Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirements
• Proven experience in cost, schedule, and performance management for a space-based program or DoD environment
• Expertise in strategic planning and acquisition strategy development

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
