Primary Therapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based interventions adapted to client needs
• Conduct mental health assessments, interpret results, and provide feedback to clients
• Develop treatment plans using Integrated Process Based Therapy (iPBT)
• Complete timely documentation including progress notes, weekly assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
• Collaborate with the treatment team, case managers, and outpatient providers to ensure continuity of care
• Provide crisis stabilization and milieu support for residential clients
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, supervision, and professional development training
• Communicate with families and provide community education and workshops as needed

Requirements

• Master's degree in a Counseling-related field
• Associate clinical mental health license in California required; full licensure preferred
• Experience providing therapy and case management in mental health settings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
