Primary Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychotherapy including individual, group, and family therapy
• Complete clinical paperwork including treatment plans, progress notes, wellness plans, aftercare plans, and discharge summaries
• Perform comprehensive assessments including biopsychosocial, self-harm, and suicide assessments
• Create individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Attend treatment team meetings and rounds to coordinate patient care
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced teammates

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Full or associate/intern mental health licensure as required by the state
• Collaborative nature and strong communication skills within a multi-disciplinary team
• For Colorado RCCF roles: Master's degree with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience working with children/youth

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with individual and/or family therapy
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing tasks and maintain flexibility
• For Level II: At least 2 years of significant individual/family caseload experience
• For Level III: At least 3 years post-licensure experience with mood, anxiety, ED, or trauma-related disorders
