Primary Therapist

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychotherapy including individual, group, and family therapy for adults, children, and adolescents
• Develop individualized treatment plans with specific and measurable goals
• Complete clinical paperwork including treatment plans, progress notes, wellness plans, and discharge summaries
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial, self-harm, and suicide assessments
• Attend treatment team meetings and rounds to coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced teammates as required

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
• Active Illinois therapy license (or in associate/intern phase of licensure)
• Experience with individual and/or family therapy
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative nature

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience treating mood, anxiety, eating disorders, or trauma-related conditions
• Ability to manage a significant caseload independently
• Experience supervising other clinicians
