Primary System Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide application administration and support for client production Charles River IMS solutions
• Manage user administration, privileges, and configuration of software changes
• Perform interface and integration configuration, testing, and support
• Resolve escalated technical problems and migrate resolutions to production environments
• Ensure system availability and perform performance troubleshooting
• Manage Charles River IMS and database software patches and version upgrades
• Assist with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning
• Participate in the development and refinement of automated support services and tools

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
• 11+ years of professional experience in mission-critical production software environments
• Expertise in PowerShell development and scripting for automation
• Proficiency with Windows Server environments
• Experience with SQL or MS SQL Server
• Experience with log aggregation tools such as the ELK stack
• Working knowledge of Azure Cloud

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with DevOps technologies and Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with scheduler tools like BMC Control-M or Autosys
• Knowledge of Python or Perl scripting
• Experience with Charles River IMS or securities trading software
• Background in portfolio management and trading system applications
• Familiarity with networks, clusters, high availability systems, and FIX
