Primary School Teacher

Responsibilities

• Provide qualified subject instruction for grades 1-4
• Assume classroom leadership responsibilities for grades 1-4
• Participate actively in subject groups and potentially take on subject leadership roles
• Lead extracurricular activities and interest groups
• Plan and organize school trips, excursions, and special projects
• Assist in the organization and implementation of school events
• Contribute to the dynamic ongoing development of the school

Requirements

• Completed teaching degree (second state exam) specifically for primary school
• At least two years of professional teaching experience or a continuous traineeship
• Fluency in the German language
• High level of intercultural sensitivity and enjoyment working in an international team
• Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and communication skills
• Interest in competency-oriented teaching and cooperative learning forms

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in German as a Foreign Language (DaF) or language-sensitive instruction (DFU)
