Pricing Specialist, Associate 2

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver timely valuation reports to internal and external clients
• Manage pricing feeds, broker quotes, and backup pricing sources to ensure data integrity
• Identify, research, and resolve market data exceptions, including variance and stale price issues
• Review and approve pricing packages with a focus on accuracy, audit trails, and timeliness
• Research corporate actions and perform portfolio-level pricing for diverse products including Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives
• Propose process improvements to reduce risk and increase operational efficiencies
• Maintain proper documentation for audit purposes and mentor new team members

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in securities pricing, fund accounting, or custody operations
• Strong knowledge of capital markets and complex financial securities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Access for data analysis
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze complex problems and reach sound conclusions in a continuous operations environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, or IDC market data terminals
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course or Derivatives Fundamentals Course
• Experience with OTC and Exchange-traded Derivatives, FX, and Bank Loans
