Pricing Manager

Responsibilities

• Process transport inquiries, including budgetary and fixed business requests, from across the organization
• Obtain and evaluate offers for land, air, and sea transport, including LCL, FCL, RoRo, break bulk, and oversize transport
• Conduct final negotiations with subcontractors to secure competitive and reliable pricing
• Support subcontractor management and document communications in the TMS to ensure smooth order conversion
• Assist in developing transport concepts tailored to specific project needs and mitigate potential risks
• Manage and mentor a growing pricing team, setting KPIs and providing weekly performance feedback

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship as a forwarding agent or equivalent professional training
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding and pricing
• Comprehensive knowledge of air, ocean, inland, barging, rail, heavy haul, and rigging transport modes
• Strong understanding of domestic and international geography, including major ports and cities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience working with TMS systems
• Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cargowise TMS
• Proficiency in Spanish
