Pricing & Deal Strategy Analyst

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models to evaluate pricing for new products and utility contracts
• Partner with Product and Marketing teams to weight pricing models based on device-specific value streams
• Analyze utility tariff structures and regulatory filings to ensure competitive offerings
• Model "what-if" scenarios for non-standard deals, including volume-based and performance-based incentives
• Develop sensitivity and risk models to assess commercial risk in performance contracts
• Conduct post-mortem analyses on existing contracts to identify trends in discounting and yield
• Maintain standard price books and discounting logic within Salesforce and BillingPlatform
• Automate manual pricing spreadsheets into repeatable tools for Sales

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in Pricing, Strategic Finance, or Commercial Operations
• Experience in B2B SaaS, Utility, or Renewable Energy technology sectors
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Proficiency with SQL for pulling historical performance data
• Familiarity with utility business models, demand response, or distributed energy resources (DERs)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
