Price Reporter

Responsibilities

• Foster in-depth knowledge of pulp and paper market fundamentals, supply chains, and key participants
• Collect pricing data and set prices following robust methodology and IOSCO principles
• Write market commentaries, breaking news, and insightful copy with PRA angles
• Manage and expand industry contacts for pricing data and news exclusives
• Peer review prices to ensure editorial judgment and process compliance
• Assist the section editor in managing the price pipeline and identifying new launch opportunities
• Support market engagement through white papers, infographics, and industry events

Requirements

• High level of written and spoken English
• Interest in and understanding of financial markets and commodities
• Strong networking and communication skills with a confident telephone manner
• Ability to work with numbers, spreadsheets, and produce analytical editorial copy
• Practical experience in journalism or professional writing
• Ability to work independently to produce sourced news
• Strong team player with high integrity and a proactive approach
