Price Reporter/Associate, EMEA Freight Markets

Responsibilities

• Assess freight markets by surveying participants and publishing price updates throughout the day
• Write high-quality market commentaries to help readers understand market movements and assessment methodologies
• Report news and publish analysis regarding supply and demand, regulations, and price trends
• Engage with industry sources to find and nurture new market relationships and maintain existing ones
• Ensure rigorous use of mathematics and Excel for accurate market assessments

Requirements

• Reporting or analytical experience
• Strong mathematical and writing skills
• Strong time-management and communication skills
• Ability to perform well both individually and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in shipping markets
• Proficiency in European languages
