Prevention Specialist, HIV Prevention

Responsibilities

• Represent Gilead's HIV prevention products to healthcare practitioners in the Midtown East area to drive sales and disease awareness
• Establish strong working relationships with healthcare practices to provide clinical updates, education, and disease awareness information
• Develop and implement territory business plans to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals
• Actively promote the appropriate use of Gilead products in accordance with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines
• Partner with internal teams, including Medical Scientists and Marketing, to support territory objectives
• Manage territory budget plans for customer contacts, educational grants, and speaker events
• Perform administrative functions including reporting call activity and submitting expenses promptly

Requirements

• High School diploma with 9 years of experience, OR
• Associates Degree with 7 years of experience, OR
• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience, OR
• Master's Degree with 3 years of experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned geographic area
• Ability to perform onsite visitations of healthcare practitioners

Preferred Qualifications

• BA or BS degree
• Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives, preferably in specialty markets
• Previous experience with product launches in highly competitive environments
• Superior selling skills focused on highly competitive markets
