Preventative Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime of reverse vending machine (RVM) installations
• Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and manage both planned repairs and unplanned breakdowns
• Perform regular machine upgrades as required
• Diagnose and troubleshoot fundamental mechanical and electrical issues with TOMRA machinery
• Respond to occasional work orders and report on service assignments and faults
• Provide excellent customer service to partners and members of the public
• Perform equipment cleaning and prioritize safety in all aspects of work
• Drive for long periods as required to attend to various sites across NSW

Requirements

• Experience servicing and maintaining mechanical and/or electrical equipment
• Ability to diagnose rudimentary machinery issues and carry out necessary repairs
• Unrestricted driver's license and willingness to submit a full driving history record
• Previous experience interacting face-to-face with customers
• Strong time management skills and a safety-first mindset
• Ability to pass a federal police check and pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
