Press Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Assist the production supervisor in leading, directing, training, and monitoring the activities of the second shift
• Ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently through effective resource utilization
• Act as an essential line of communication between production associates and management
• Monitor product quality using measuring tools, gauges, and fixtures
• Audit processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance
• Participate in the investigation, containment, and documentation of non-conforming products
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Team Leader
• Experience with Transfer Presses and Progressive/Hand Transfer Presses
• Experience with Atlas and HMS Transfer Automation
• Hands-on experience with set-up and die changes
• Proficiency with computers and basic mathematics
• Ability to read and write proficiently in English
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001: 2015 standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
