Press Section Lead

Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily Press operations plans and provide start-up meeting information to line leaders
• Manage training needs for Press operators, technicians, and line leaders
• Monitor and enforce plant policies, procedures, and quality systems within the Press department
• Verify raw material availability and report shortages to prevent production delays
• Achieve daily performance targets for Safety, Quality, Cost, Idle Time, UPH, and 5S standards
• Assist management with reviewing work performance and applying corrective actions when necessary
• Maintain payroll for Press employees and ensure efficient use of materials and supplies
• Interact with other functional departments and coordinate with PM & AGV technicians as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in a production environment
• Proven experience mentoring or coaching operators
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvements
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and evaluate complex equipment and system integration problems
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to perform occasional international travel
