Press Room Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned work cell personnel, including manpower assignments, overtime identification, and performance appraisals.
• Ensure daily productivity targets are met, including efficiency, run to rate, and workplace organization.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to minimize machine downtime and identify root causes of breakdowns.
• Maintain a safe working environment through safety audits, accident investigations, and ensuring proper use of PPE.
• Monitor production quality by physically inspecting jobs hourly and reviewing quality data.
• Manage training requirements and maintain skills tracking matrices for all assigned personnel.
• Verify production sheets against CMS reporting and ensure all work instructions and SPC charts are up to date.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Diploma.
• 3-5 years of experience in a press room environment.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work in a plant environment (80% plant floor, 20% office).
• Availability for overtime and travel as required.
