Press Operator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate print jobs for the offset press printing process, including machine startup and running print runs
• Manage ink levels, make appropriate ink and roller adjustments, and perform ink readings throughout the shift
• Perform quality checks to ensure work meets standards and execute cleanup procedures at the end of the shift
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery
• Collaborate with Bindery, Quality, Prepress, and Leadership teams to maximize workflow and meet service commitments

Requirements

• High speed checking accuracy and superior attention to detail
• Strong numerical and mathematical skills
• Exceptional logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, stooping, and crouching
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs frequently
