Press Operator

Responsibilities

• Assist the press crew by performing setup and production activities, primarily on the back-end of offset and digital web presses
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by reading job specifications (DSR) and staging necessary materials
• Conduct quality checks on products, complete transactions, and handle bundling and tagging
• Monitor equipment performance and product quality while documenting activities in systems like SAP and MII
• Maintain a clean work area through regular housekeeping and troubleshooting equipment issues
• Comply with all safety and environmental regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Fill in for Lead and Mid-Level Operators during absences or breaks as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or higher (vocational/technical degree strongly preferred)
• Experience in an industrial setting, specifically in maintenance or troubleshooting production machinery
• Strong mechanical and technical skills, including proficiency with rulers and measurement tools
• Thorough understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices
• Physical ability to regularly stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach, and kneel
• Ability to lift at least 5 lbs. above the shoulder and occasionally lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
