Press Operator I

Responsibilities

• Operate hydraulic press machines to produce high-tolerance plates according to standard operating procedures
• Run, monitor, and adjust the press line to maintain quality specifications despite material or tool variables
• Test and verify part quality before, during, and after production
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods, including effective packing and handling
• Perform tool changes, cleaning, and research breakdown causes to make necessary repairs
• Drive continuous improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety
• Document and communicate technical issues to relevant stakeholders
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace and press line

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience as a machine operator
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Basic computer skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity
