Press Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate compression molding presses to fabricate rubber and rubber-to-metal bonded parts
• Load parts, operate controls, and inspect finished products for conformance to company and customer specifications
• Study and interpret technical drawings, shop manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances
• Follow established sequences of operations and setup requirements to ensure quality production

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure
• Ability to read blueprints and understand engineering drawings and customer specifications
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds
