About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate compression molding presses to fabricate rubber and rubber-to-metal bonded parts
- Load parts, operate controls, and inspect finished products for conformance to company and customer specifications
- Study and interpret technical drawings, shop manuals, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances
- Follow established sequences of operations and setup requirements to ensure quality production
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure
- Ability to read blueprints and understand engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds
