Press Helper

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of web presses and ensure smooth production flow
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized press area
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials like ink, paper, and plates are ready
• Perform quality checks every 15 minutes for color, registration, and specifications
• Run the press during operator breaks, lunches, or PTO
• Assist with setup and maintenance tasks such as washing blankets, plates, and fountains
• Prepare and load roll stock and inspect for defects
• Record production data, materials used, and downtime
• Perform light preventive maintenance
• Safely move materials and finished products up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• 3+ years of prior production machine operating experience
• Ability to operate press without supervision
• Ability to identify colors and imperfections
• Strong analytical skills and independent thinking
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Excellent work habits and teamwork skills
