Press Helper

Responsibilities

• Operate web presses as directed by the press operator
• Inspect printed sheets for color registration and specifications every 15 minutes
• Wash blankets and plates
• Move 50 pound boxes onto pallets and stage stock
• Enter machine codes, material codes, and quantities for production records
• Prepare roll-stock for printing and inspect rolls for defects
• Assist in job make ready processes including washing fountains and rollers
• Perform autonomous maintenance duties on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis
• Retrieve ink and manage ink inventory via computer systems

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of production machine operating experience
• Ability to operate press without supervision
• Ability to identify colors and imperfections
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pound boxes
