Press Brake Operator

Responsibilities

• Produce flat and formed parts using Amada Brake Press and laser equipment according to engineered drawings
• Identify correct materials, programs, and dies for laser and/or brake press per work orders
• Perform equipment set-up, including tooling and retrieving preprogrammed machine instructions
• Troubleshoot cutting conditions, damaged tools, and equipment alarms
• Use manual and automatic deburring equipment to ensure parts meet quality standards
• Sort and store raw materials using a forklift and overhead crane
• Maintain a safe and clean environment through regular 5S tasks

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience operating similar equipment preferred
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Mathematical conversion skills (fractions and decimals)
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometers
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift, lower, push, or pull up to 40 lbs safely
• Valid Driver's License
