Presenter/Producer, Sport

Responsibilities

• Create, produce, and present engaging sports content across radio, digital, and live platforms.
• Present live sport on NT Grandstand with confidence, personality, and authenticity.
• Deliver regular sports updates across the ABC schedule.
• Build and maintain strong connections with local sporting communities, athletes, and organisations.
• Collaborate with national ABC teams to elevate Northern Territory sports stories to a wider audience.
• Identify compelling local angles and make smart editorial decisions to drive engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating and presenting audio and cross-platform content.
• Strong storytelling instincts and the ability to break down information quickly.
• Deep knowledge of the Northern Territory sporting community and local landscape.
• Demonstrated cultural awareness and respect for First Nations perspectives.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
