Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
• Plan and prepare materials for daily activities and projects
• Lead engaging activities such as arts, music, and storytelling
• Incorporate technology and hands-on learning experiences
• Observe and assess children's progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress updates
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children in a clean classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff
• Adhere to all school policies and educational standards

Requirements

• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
• Strong understanding of child development principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity and enthusiasm for learning activities
• Patience and effective classroom management skills
• Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Knowledge of health and safety practices
• Physical ability to engage with children and lift up to 30 pounds
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification or license
