Preschool Teacher

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences
• Support children's daily routines, including free play, guided activities, diapering/toileting, meals, and rest time
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Encourage social-emotional development, independence, and positive peer interactions
• Observe, assess, and document developmental progress and milestones
• Maintain open, professional communication with families regarding children's growth
• Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to ensure a consistent, high-quality learning environment
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• CPR and First Aid Certification (training provided if not current)
• Ability to obtain required background clearances, including FBI Fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training

Preferred Qualifications

• CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in Early Childhood Education
• Fire and Water Safety Certification
