Preschool Lead Teacher

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment and ensure compliance with safety and ratio requirements
• Lead activities that support children’s learning and development
• Provide active supervision and guide behavior through positive reinforcement
• Support daily routines, including meals, naps, and transitions
• Observe, document, and share student progress with families
• Collaborate with your team to deliver consistent, high-quality classroom experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Knowledge of state licensing requirements and classroom compliance expectations
• Ability to meet state-specific education, certification, and licensing requirements
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• 1–2 years of teaching experience in a preschool or early childhood setting
• CPR/First Aid certification
