About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and delivery of tailored maritime safety and sustainability solutions
- Conduct discovery calls and workshops with customer stakeholders to document requirements and business outcomes
- Translate customer needs into solution outlines, data flows, and integration notes
- Prepare RFP/RFI content, schedules, and solution narratives
- Deliver persuasive product demonstrations and presentations addressing customer pain points
- Provide the "voice of the customer" to Product and Business Development teams
- Contribute insights on industry trends, including maritime regulations (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL) and decarbonization frameworks
Requirements
- 10-12 years of experience in the maritime industry
- Proven experience implementing digital and software solutions
- Deep domain expertise in maritime operations, fleet management, compliance, or port logistics
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with SaaS, CRM platforms, and maritime compliance frameworks
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Maritime Studies, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with maritime digital transformation initiatives such as Smart Shipping or Autonomous Vessels
- Familiarity with data analytics platforms, voyage optimization, emissions tracking, or IoT solutions
- Multilingual skills
