Presales Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers in developing complex designs for modular and hybrid data centers and power rooms during the proposal phase.
• Interpret customer requirements and tender documentation to incorporate specific needs into proposed technical solutions.
• Coordinate multiple technical disciplines, including architecture, civil, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire protection engineering.
• Supervise the preparation and review of technical documentation and engineering plans.
• Provide technical assistance and expert information to the sales team during active sales cycles.
• Manage team performance through annual evaluations, objective setting, and professional development guidance.
• Refine engineering tools, methods, and processes to improve design efficiency and accuracy.
• Travel internationally (approximately 10%) for customer meetings, training, and seminars.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in engineering roles.
• Deep expertise in data center design, including technical systems, functionalities, and architecture.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to interact directly with clients to present complex technical concepts.
