Presales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Devise engaging industry-specific demos and proofs of concept to support the Business Development team
• Act as a trusted advisor for consumer goods clients throughout the sales process
• Research and develop unique selling points and storylines for core industry products
• Showcase solution knowledge at commercial conferences through networking and product demonstrations
• Translate customer-specific requirements into high-level solution designs in collaboration with internal competence centers
• Document proposed solution scopes and project approaches
• Assist in formulating RFx responses using solution and industry expertise
• Support the advisory team with industry-specific advisory assignments

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Programming, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in supporting sales cycles
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain planning processes and solutions
• Experience in B2B enterprise software, cloud sales, or the IT sector
• Proficiency in managing sales pipelines using Salesforce CRM
• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
• Ability to handle complex customer needs and adjust quickly during client interactions

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of at least one language other than English
• Previous experience with supply chain planning solutions similar to OMP’s offerings
