About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and design Enterprise Networking and Security infrastructures for clients
- Provide technical expertise and credibility to the account team
- Conduct customer presentations on technical solution sets and value propositions
- Assist sales account managers with account planning and project management for presales engagements
- Complete technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses
- Develop solution architecture and detailed bills of materials (BOMs)
- Function as a liaison between customers, sales teams, and professional services
- Maintain certifications and stay current on products and technologies
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT
- 3+ years of experience as a Presales Consultant or Systems Engineer
- Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, JNCIS, JNCIP, PNCSA, PCNSE, VCP)
- Strong Enterprise networking experience (Cisco, HPE/Juniper)
- Strong Enterprise security experience (Cisco, PaloAlto, Fortinet)
- Excellent presentation, written communication, and documentation skills
- Understanding of business requirements including costing and pricing strategies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Wi-Fi (Aruba, Cisco, MIST)
- Compute & Hyper convergence (HPE, Dell, Nutanix)
- Ultra-Low Latency (Arista)
- SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela, HPE SilverPeak, VMWare VeloCloud)
- DevOps and automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python, CICD)
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure)
- Virtualization (VMWare)
- Storage experience (NetApp, Pure)
