Presales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Plan and design Enterprise Networking and Security infrastructures for clients
• Provide technical expertise and credibility to the account team
• Conduct customer presentations on technical solution sets and value propositions
• Assist sales account managers with account planning and project management for presales engagements
• Complete technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses
• Develop solution architecture and detailed bills of materials (BOMs)
• Function as a liaison between customers, sales teams, and professional services
• Maintain certifications and stay current on products and technologies

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT
• 3+ years of experience as a Presales Consultant or Systems Engineer
• Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, JNCIS, JNCIP, PNCSA, PCNSE, VCP)
• Strong Enterprise networking experience (Cisco, HPE/Juniper)
• Strong Enterprise security experience (Cisco, PaloAlto, Fortinet)
• Excellent presentation, written communication, and documentation skills
• Understanding of business requirements including costing and pricing strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Wi-Fi (Aruba, Cisco, MIST)
• Compute & Hyper convergence (HPE, Dell, Nutanix)
• Ultra-Low Latency (Arista)
• SD-WAN (Cisco Viptela, HPE SilverPeak, VMWare VeloCloud)
• DevOps and automation (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python, CICD)
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure)
• Virtualization (VMWare)
• Storage experience (NetApp, Pure)
