Préposée aux clients

Responsibilities

• Assist beneficiaries with daily hygiene, dressing, and personal care to promote autonomy.
• Supervise group meal times and snacks.
• Administer medication to residents as required.
• Provide non-invasive physical care and support residents in organizing their rooms and laundry.
• Support intervenors in maintaining measures outlined in intervention plans.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents, including monitoring health status.
• Manage residents' personal belongings and inventory.
• Accompany residents to medical appointments when necessary.
• Perform weekly room inspections and report any safety issues or maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Specialized training in personal assistance (PAB/Préposé aux bénéficiaires).
• At least two years of experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with clients experiencing mental health issues.
• Proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written).
• Valid First Aid certification.
• AENP training (Loi 90).
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and emotional balance.
• Valid driver's license is considered an asset.
