Preparation Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare mineral samples (e.g., coal and petroleum coke) by crushing using various models
• Transfer, label, and file samples with associated paperwork
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on preparation equipment
• Accurately record all data associated with sample preparation
• Maintain organized and clean equipment and containers
• Ensure compliance with all local and federal safety processes and PPE requirements

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid and current Driver’s license
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card)
• Ability to work night shifts (7pm - 4am) including weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in an industrial, laboratory, or field setting
• Experience following strict safety standards
