About the role

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for food preparation and safety by following standardized recipes established by Executive Chef and Team Nutrition Manager
  • Use appropriate ingredients and various cooking methods while demonstrating proper food handling protocol
  • Ensure proper labeling of ingredients and maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with HACCP guidelines
  • Perform duties of line cooks and dishwashers as needed to support department efforts
  • Maintain organized and efficient workspace, kitchen, and dining area
  • Assist Executive Chef with on-site and off-site catering, including vendor identification and food safety standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment including dishwashers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Nutrition/Dietetics, or related field
  • Experience in healthy cooking techniques, recipe modification, and analysis
  • Experience cooking for Collegiate, Professional, Olympic, or Individual Sports teams
  • ACF (American Culinary Federation) designation of CCC, CEC, or CMC
