About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain stocked workstation throughout shift
- Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools
- Complete daily prep tasks assigned
- Prepare recipes by following strict guidelines and portioning techniques
- Monitor and maintain food standards for recipe production, appearance, quality, and safety
- Clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces
- Take out trash and boxes daily
- Complete all closing work before leaving
- Support team members and leadership
Requirements
- Ability to follow detailed directions and standard restaurant procedures
- Ability to constantly move throughout the kitchen
- Ability to prepare food according to specifications
- Ability to safely utilize a variety of kitchen tools and machinery
- Ability to multitask and remain highly organized
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Must be available to work evening shifts
