Prep Cook & Utility Worker

Responsibilities

• Prepare fruits and vegetables by washing, peeling, and chopping
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation
• Stock items in preparation for future shifts
• Notify manager of out-of-date or rotting food
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and Grab n Go options
• Load and unload dish machines
• Follow sanitation guidelines
• Unload and stack dishes in storage areas
• Sweep and mop kitchen, dish room, and walk-ins
• Remove trash and recyclables
• Rinse trash cans and compost containers

Requirements

• Ability to lift 10-20 lbs numerous times and up to 50 lbs several times per day
• Ability to push or pull a cart up to 70 lbs frequently
• Capacity for repetitive hand use for grasping and fine manipulation
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods
• Ability to work in a hot and humid environment
• Practice of proper health sanitation and a positive attitude
