Prep Cook

Responsibilities

• Prepare and portion fresh to-go food items daily, including sandwiches, salads, wraps, and protein boxes
• Follow standardized recipes, portion control guidelines, and food safety protocols (FIFO, labeling, temperature control)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep kitchen, workstations, and refrigeration units
• Stock and replenish the to-go food display area at the end of each shift
• Assist with food inventory checks to maintain health standards and minimize waste
• Perform end-of-shift cleaning, closing duties, and deep cleaning of the kitchen area

Requirements

• Availability for early morning shifts from 4:30 AM – 9:30 AM
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation, kitchen, or deli roles (restaurant, cafe, or grocery)
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain one
