About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and portion made from scratch foods for daily service
  • Follow State, Federal and Local food safety guidelines
  • Follow recipes accurately, including changing quantities for batched recipes
  • Ensure proper portioning and cooking of all menu items
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Communicate effectively with the Chef to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Perform daily preparation of orders as needed on the line

Requirements

  • Ability to work safely in a kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
  • Understanding of standardized recipes and cooking terminology
  • Ability to calculate proportions, percentages, and volume
  • Familiarity with food allergens and dietary restrictions
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills

  • Experience with kitchen operations and scratch cooking
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in creating visual food presentations
