About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, portions, and labels ingredients according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Ensures all prep areas and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and organized according to company policies and OSHA standards
  • Practices safe handling, storage, and rotation of all food items (FIFO)
  • Assists line cooks and chefs with basic preparation tasks as needed
  • Maintains proper labeling and dating of all prepared items
  • Supports receiving and storage of deliveries, including stocking and verifying product quality
  • Communicates product shortages or equipment issues to kitchen leadership

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the USA
  • High School diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
  • 0–2 years of related kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to follow directions and complete repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Strong time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs
