Prep Cook

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and procedures to prepare assigned sauces, proteins, and food items according to prep lists and par guidelines
• Produce all dressings, stocks, and garnishes from scratch to ensure high-quality culinary standards
• Maintain strict portioning controls and follow food allergy procedures and special order restrictions
• Comply with all health code requirements and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Store, receive, stock, and rotate food throughout the workday per company standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely in accordance with OSHA regulations
• Work collaboratively with BOH and FOH team members in a high-paced environment

Requirements

• Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for a full shift
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Must possess all required food and alcohol certifications as designated by the location
• Good judgment skills and an adaptive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a prep cook or similar culinary role
