About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain assigned par levels of food items, including proteins, sauces, dressings, and stocks from scratch
- Follow recipes, procedures, and portioning controls to ensure culinary consistency
- Manage food allergy procedures and special dietary restrictions
- Handle food preparation, garnishes, and condiments for line service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with all health code requirements
- Operate kitchen equipment safely in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Store, receive, stock, and rotate food products according to company standards
- Communicate effectively with Back of House and Front of House team members in a high-paced environment
Requirements
- Previous prep experience preferred
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for a full shift
- Must possess all required food and alcohol certifications as designated by location
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
