About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain assigned par levels of food items, including proteins, sauces, dressings, and stocks from scratch
- Follow recipes, procedures, and portioning controls to ensure culinary consistency
- Prepare garnishes and condiments for line service
- Comply with all health code requirements and food allergy procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning shelves and removing trash
- Operate kitchen equipment safely in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Store, receive, stock, and rotate food products according to company standards
- Communicate effectively with Back of House and Front of House team members in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights and weekends
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must possess all required food and alcohol certifications as designated by the location
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a full shift
- Ability to work in a high-paced, high-pressure environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food preparation role
